Thanks to Lonnie for the reviews, and to the person with the coinstar idea.
The pith is that you can "Cook with no fats or oils!" Slightly misleading, as you can see, as the following is taken directly from the faqs of the site: https://secure.stonedine.com/faqs.aspQ:
Do I need to “season” my pan?
A:
Yes. Before you use your StoneDine pans for the 1st time, please clean with a soft sponge in warm soapy water. Be sure any loose metallic particles from production are removed. Allow the cookware to dry. Now season your COLD cookware by placing a few drops of cooking oil on a paper towel and spread over the cookware surfaces. Your StoneDine cookware is now ready to use! Q:
My pan is losing its non-stick feel. What do I do?
A:
If you have put your pan in the dishwasher, you may feel it is losing its natural non-stick feeling. If so, re-oil the pan. Take a paper towel and wipe oil on the surface while cold. Wipe out any excess. This will re-season the pan.Yes, I'm nit-picking, but I do feel that one should know the full facts, with out the bs of having to hunt for it. Also, full disclosure of the full price is now listed under the payment area, so that you can see it before you go for the trail, however, it is in smaller print, and you won't see it unless you scroll down to see it:
"Even if you're not satisfied and return the product, keep the 11 piece knife set with Lifetime Warranty (a $49 value) as our FREE gift to you!
*If you're delighted with and keep your cookware, just make 9 additional payments of $29.97. Your total for all payments is $299.97 + S&H."
